Two restriction zones are in effect in March 2026:
Happy Bay – SXM Music Festival
Navigation and anchoring prohibited from Monday March 16 at 8:00 AM to Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 8:00 AM, within 300 m from the shoreline. Pleasure boats must temporarily relocate to Marigot Bay or Grand-Case Bay.
Grand-Case – Fireworks Display
Navigation and anchoring prohibited from Monday March 23 at 6:00 AM to Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 6:00 AM. The fireworks show (Skyfall Pyrotechnics) will be launched from a floating pontoon 200 m offshore at 11:00 PM, with a 150 m safety perimeter. Boats must relocate to Friar's Bay, Potence de Galisbay, or remain more than 200 m outside the firing zone.
